Safety Engineer / Officer
As an Safety Engineer / Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintain overall efficiency of set standards for the function.

What you will be doing:
Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property by actively monitoring the premises and responding to incidents promptly and appropriately.
Utilize security cameras and monitoring equipment to keep a watchful eye on the property, identifying any suspicious activities or potential hazards.
Assist in responding to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and other critical situations, following established safety procedures.
Keeps the Security Supervisor or Director of Security informed of all security related matters.
Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with security problems and loss control.
Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials if required.
Proper grooming at all times
Patrols lobbies, corridors, guest floors, public areas and outside, including parking area.
Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment.
Provide assistance and support to guests, addressing their safety concerns and inquiries professionally and courteously
Notifies concerned Department Head of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
Enters and checks rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicious and to seize any remaining personal property.
Complies and records data for Security Control.
Document all incidents, accidents, and security-related activities in a clear and concise manner, maintaining accurate records.
Ensures all Fire safety equipment is at the designated places and are serviceable at all times.
Ensures all Fire Exits and stairs are clear from obstruction at all times.
Directs incoming guests to the check in area.
Reports complaints or problems to Security Supervisor if no immediate solution can be found.
Ensures a high level of product knowledge of hotel and local areas.
Ensures a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
Ensures the Security Supervisor/ Security Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either customers or other departments.
Reads all memos concerning Security
Attends training sessions as scheduled to improve skills and knowledge.
At the end of the shift or the day, she/he has to communicate all information that the next shift or the supervisor has to know for a well running of the operations.
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in hotel is preferred.
Experience in the same rule
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
