Job Description
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Efficiently manage, develop, and maintain overall KDD Mechanical systems in line with company and international standards.
- Oversee project execution, cycle, and operations to ensure timely completion within KDD standards and requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure that all project work runs on schedule and meets quality expectations.
- Control all aspects of the project including planning, materials delivery, and on-site supervision.
- Determine project specifications by studying user requirements, performance standards, and technical deliverables.
- Ensure that installation work is completed on time and to KDD standards, resolving any site or material delays.
- Participate in project meetings with stakeholders including surveyors, subcontractors, site foremen, and clients.
- Maintain quality control procedures, including regular testing and visual inspections of materials and work.
- Lead safety inspections to ensure compliance with KDD’s health and safety regulations.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, defining tasks, managing budgets, and preparing project documentation.
- Prepare and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications in coordination with AutoCAD Draftsmen.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical site inspections involving devices, components, control systems, and automated machinery.
- Determine project schedules, calculate time requirements, and maintain full-scale project plans and timelines.
- Create and review project documents related to scope, cost, time, specifications, procurement, BOQ, and tenders.
- Request and evaluate supplier quotations, conduct comparisons, and provide purchase recommendations.
- Coordinate with project teams and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and company standards.
- Execute additional management directives as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Language: Fluency in English is a must
Required Professional Skills:
- Proficient in LV, HV, FA, Control Systems & Automation; Project Design, Execution, and Validation
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Skilled in AutoCAD
- Strong command of Project Management Tools and Methodologies
- Effective in managing teams and workforce coordination
