Overview
We are seeking qualified Fixed/Mobile Guards to support U.S. Government operations in Kuwait.
The Fixed/Mobile Guard is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of personnel, vehicles, and facilities through screening, surveillance, and patrol operations.
This position plays a key role in safeguarding U.S. interests by enforcing access control, operating advanced screening systems, and responding effectively to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Control personnel and vehicle entry and exit at Entry Control Points (ECPs).
- Inspect all vehicles and deliveries in accordance with Force Protection Condition Delta and Kuwait Security Support Services Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate U.S. Government-installed barrier devices to prevent unauthorized access.
- Manage and escort military and contracted convoys at designated ECPs.
- Conduct inspections of personnel and vehicles using systems such as Ion Scanners, Backscatter X-Ray, Under-Vehicle Surveillance Systems, and Mobile Vehicle X-Ray Scanners.
- Support perimeter surveillance, mobile patrols, and mail screening operations.
- Utilize U.S. Government communications and web-based systems in the Emergency Operations Center.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required (to obtain or maintain clearance).
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance preferred.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must pass State and National (NCIC) criminal background checks prior to hire.
- Minimum 2 years of combined honorable active-duty military, law enforcement, or private security experience in a contingency area.
- Honorable discharge required (DD-214 verification).
- Must pass a physical examination and meet U.S. Army height, weight, and physical fitness standards (per AR 190-56).
- Must meet all labor and visa requirements of the host country.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, drag, carry, or pull up to 150 lbs.
- Use physical force to detain or prevent unauthorized access.
- Perform prolonged standing, foot and vehicle patrols, and rapid physical responses including pursuit and obstacle navigation.
- Work in adverse environments while wearing ballistic, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) protective gear.
- Maintain physical stamina, motor coordination, and sensory acuity to effectively perform duties under stressful or noisy conditions.
